Terms and Conditions


Making a booking with Little Blue Cakes signifies your acceptance to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

Little blue cakes reserve the right to change or amend these terms without notice

1       General.

  1. Payments – Payments are to be made by either PayPal Via littlebluecake@outlook.com or via BACS to the details given at the time of booking or by Cash in special circumstances.

  2. Deposit – Deposits are required to create a booking; no booking will be made without receiving a deposit. Deposit payments must be made by the methods set out in 1.1.

    1. Deposit is a minimum of 50% of the full balance, although a greater portion may be made.

  3. Final Payments – Full balance payments are to be made to reach Little Blue Cakes (From now referred to as ‘Us’ ‘We’ or ‘The Company’) no later than 7 calendar days before the date a cake is to be Delivered/Collected, and by the methods set out in 1.1.

  1. Cancellations.

    1. Less than 7 calendar days before booked collection/delivery date – No refund will be given.

    2. Between 7 and 27 calendar days before booked collection/delivery date – a refund of the balance paid, less the deposit amount will be refunded.

    3. 28 calendar days or more – a full refund will be made.

  2. Weddings.

    1. Booking – Wedding bookings must be made at least 42 calendar days before the event.

    2. Deposit - Deposits are required to create a booking; no booking will be made without receiving a deposit. Deposit payments must be made by the methods set out in 1.1.

      1. Deposit is a minimum of £50, although a greater portion of the balance may be paid.

    3. Final Payment - Full balance payments are to be made to reach us no later than 28 calendar days before the date of the event, and by the methods set out in 1.1.

    4. Cancellation.

      1. Less than 28 calendar days before the event – No refund will be given.

      2. Between 28 and 42 calendar days - a refund of the balance paid, less the deposit amount will be refunded.

      3. More than 42 Calendar days – A full refund will be given.

  3. Deliveries – Deliveries will attract a surcharge that will be advised at the time of booking and must be paid with the balance of the cake in accordance with the terms set out above, Deliveries are only available in a 25-mile radius of NN13.​

  4. Severe Adverse Weather Conditions.

    1. In the unlikely event of severe adverse weather conditions it is possible that our delivery drivers may not be able to get to you, if this is the case then you will be given the option of, changing to collection or delivery on the next possible day/time, should the decision be taken to change to collection then a refund will be made of the amount paid to Little Blue Cakes for delivery (payments made via PayPal will be subject to PayPal fees) Little Blue Cakes accepts no liability for personal loss due to customers attempting collection. No refunds will be given in the event of severe adverse weather conditions accepting those outlined above and excluding those outlined in sections 3.4 through 3.4.3.

  5. Limit of Liability

    1. In the unlikely event that our baker is injured or becomes too ill to provide a cake/cakes for the event, Little Blue Cakes will make every effort to secure a replacement baker. If this situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found responsibility and liability are limited to the return of all payments received for the cake/cakes including the deposit paid. Little Blue Cakes takes the utmost care concerning transporting and preparing the cake/cakes, however, in the unlikely event that a cake/cakes have been lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons within or beyond Little Blue Cakes control, Little Blue Cakes' liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package minus the cost of materials already delivered. Little Blue Cakes will not be held responsible for any breakage or damage to items that have been supplied by the client or outside hire companies.


Appendix A.


  1. Covid

    1. Any booking affected by COVID regulations will be dealt with on a case by case basis however some notes should be made.

      1. Cancellation and refund policy still apply unless expressly advised to the contrary by Little Blue Cakes.

      2. Payment and deposit policies still apply unless expressly advised to the contrary by Little Blue Cakes.
